Standing!

Guess what? Mason's finally stood up on his own for 25 seconds. I wasn't there to witness it but my husband was. He bribed him with pizza to help him stand up. I tried to get him to do it again but he wouldn't. My husband did get a pic of the whole thing. It looks like the little guy will be walking soon. :)

Curious Baby

Mason's getting into everything. He can't sit still for one second. If I leave him alone for even a second, I usually find him on the couch getting ready to fly off like Super Baby or jumping on the rocking chair and swinging on it like crazy. It's so funny but I've had to follow him around like crazy to make sure he doesn't hurt himself. My husband and I even rearranged the furniture to make it more baby friendly. Here's some pics of baby Mason getting into some of our home decorations and jumping on his truck.

Sleeping Babies

Look what I came home to yesterday. My son Mason sleeping right next to his cousin Tristan (my brother's son). My mother-in-law was watching them yesterday and got them to fall asleep next to each other. So cute!

Mama's Day

Hi All! I hope you all had a restful weekend. We had such a wonderful mother's day weekend. My family and I went up to Napa Valley and we had such a wonderful time. We had a picnic at V. Sattui, shopped at Dean & Deluca and enjoyed some adult beverages. The babies had a great time as well and loved the new scenery. Mason even took a bubble bath in our room and loved it so much he was crying his eyes out when we took him out of the bath tub. Here are some pics from this weekend.

HI Mommas! I just want to wish you an early Happy Mother's Day! This weekend my family and I are heading over to Napa Valley, CA to spend some much needed time away soaking up the sun and enjoying some adult beverages. I might even bring Mason in the pool for the VERY.FIRST.TIME since it's so lovely out here. What are you all doing? Whatever it is, have a wonderful time with your adorable babies.

Mason Loves Books!

I took this picture of baby Mason at the bookstore a couple of weekends ago. My husband and I spent some time at the bookstore and we allowed Mason to roam free and he loved picking up books and then dropping them on the floor. It was so funny! I'm so happy that my little guy loves to read. His dad and I take turns every night reading him a book. He loves story time and cozies up to us until we're done reading. I can tell he's going to be a book nerd like his momma.

Happy 14 Months Baby Mason!

Mason turned 14 months today! We spent the day with my mom and had a wonderful lunch outside and people watched. Mason loved it. After lunch, we were given homemade biscottis and Mason gobbled it up. He still isn't walking yet but I know it's going to happen soon. He's not in any hurry though. He just loves being held. Another thing he learned just last week was to start feeding himself. His dad gave him some cheese puffs and put it towards his mouth and then he started to eat from his chubby little fingers. I was a proud momma. But now he's putting everything in his mouth. This morning I caught him trying to put a penny in his mouth. I quickly told him "coins are not for eating but buying things" and he looked at me and laughed. Here are some pics of him from last night. My husband and I took him out to eat some Chinese food (YUM) and he couldn't get enough of the rice. He almost ate a whole soup bowl to himself. So adorable.
